The Hunt for Glitch is ON! Hunt for clues online, and race to these locations in Al Ghurair Centre to find the hidden treasures. The first finder wins, don't miss a clue!  

1. ELIGIBILITY 

• The treasure hunt is open to all residents of Dubai aged 6 years and above, except employees of Al Ghurair Investment, their immediate family members, or anyone otherwise associated with the organization or judging the Treasure Hunt. 
• Minors must have parental consent to participate. Children aged 18 years and below are required to have their parents/guardian’s permission to participate in the treasure hunt.  

2. PARTICIPATION 

• Participants must follow the Glitch’s official social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok to receive hints. 
• Participants are required to like, share, and comment on the treasure hunt posts, as this would be considered as a criteria for claiming the prize. 

3. EVENT DURATION 

• The treasure hunt will take place over two days from 11 June to 13 June. 
• Hints will be posted hourly from 12.00 PM to 6.00 PM on 12th and 13th June. 

4. FINDING & CLAIMING PASS 

• Six (6) passes will be hidden each day within the mall premises. 
• Each hint will lead to a specific location within the mall where the pass is hidden. 
• Participants who find the pass must take a photo with it and post the photo as a post and story on their social media account with the hashtag #GlitchTreasureHunt. 
• Participants must bring the pass to the designated counter in Glitch for verification and to claim their prize. 

5. PRIZES 

• Each pass can be redeemed for a Silver Membership by Glitch 
• Prizes must be claimed within the same day (on 12 or 13 June 2024) while the competition is active on social media. This will be granted once the participant presents the story and post shared on their social media account.  
• One pass per person per day can be claimed. The selection of the winner will be solely at the discretion of Glitch.  

6. SAFETY & CONDUCT 

• Participants must adhere to the Mall’s rules and regulations. 
• Running, climbing, or causing disturbance to other shoppers or mall property is strictly prohibited. 
• Participants must respect other shoppers and ensure the hunt does not interfere with their shopping experience. 
• Participants of age 16 and below shall be accompanied by one of their parents/guardians.  

7. FAIR PLAY 

• Participants must not change the location of the pass once found. Each claimed pass must be submitted at the Glitch counter. 
• Any form of cheating or collusion will result in disqualification. 

8. DISQUALIFICATION 

• Glitch reserves the right to disqualify any participant found violating the terms and conditions or engaging in unsafe or disruptive behaviour. 

9. PRIVACY 

• Participating in the treasure hunt implies consent to the use of participant's photos and names for promotional purposes.   
• Personal information collected will only be used for the event's administration and not shared with third parties. 

10. LIABILITY 

• The mall or Glitch shall not accept any responsibility for any damage, injuries, losses, or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the treasure hunt or as a result of accepting the prize.    
• Glitch  is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the treasure hunt.  
• Participants shall take part in the treasure hunt at their own risk. 

11. CHANGES TO TERMS & CONDITIONS 

• Glitch reserves the right to modify or cancel the treasure hunt and its terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. 
• We will do our best to foresee any situation, dispute, or problem that may occur during this treasure hunt.  However, we are human and may not have thought of everything. We therefore reserve the right to change, delete, or add to any rules, regulations, or policies at any time deemed necessary.  
• In the event that any participant does not, or is unable to, comply with and meet these Terms and Conditions of this treasure hunt, Glitch shall be entitled at its sole discretion to disqualify such participant, without any further liability to such participant. In these circumstances, any prize won by the participant may be forfeited. All participants must comply with any directions given by us including all relevant laws, rules and regulations, and where applicable.  
• The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Terms and Conditions shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.  
• These terms and conditions shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates and the Dubai Courts.  
• Any changes to the terms and conditions of the treasure hunt shall be communicated through Glitch’s social media accounts. 

12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS 

• Participants agree to adhere to these terms and conditions by participating in the treasure hunt.

Eligibility

Participation  

• Participation is free and open to all eligible individuals at the event location.  
• Only one attempt per person will be allowed.  

Gameplay  

• Participants will be given a basketball and a single shot attempt at a designated hoop.  
• Sinking the basketball in one shot constitutes a successful dunk.  

Prizes  

• The participants that successfully dunk at the first shot will win a prize from Glitch (prize details subject to change).  
• Winners will be announced on-site immediately following their successful dunk.  

Disqualification  

• Event staff reserve the right to disqualify participants for violation of safety rules, unsportsmanlike conduct, or attempts to tamper with the basketball or hoop.  

Disclaimer  

• Participants acknowledge the inherent risks involved in physical activity and agree to hold Glitch and its affiliates harmless for any injuries sustained during the event.

Competition Format  

• The 12 on 12 Glitch is a series of online competitions running for 1 hour each on 27th June from 10 AM to 10 PM.  
• A new competition will begin every hour for 12 consecutive hours.  
• Competition details and rules will be mentioned along with each competition posting on the social handles.  

Participation  

• Participation is free.  
• Multiple entries per competition may be allowed refer to the individual game post.  
• By entering, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.  

Prizes  

• Prizes will vary per competition, details announced before each round.  
• Winners will be contacted after the competition concludes.  

Winner Selection  

• Winners will be chosen based on competition-specific criteria (e.g. fastest competition time, most creative solution, etc)  
• Judges’ decisions are final.
