Parking FAQs

Parking at Al Ghurair Centre is managed in partnership with Parkin. The answers below cover charges, free-parking entitlements, the ticketless ANPR system and how to pay.

Parking at Al Ghurair Centre is managed in partnership with Parkin, providing visitors with a convenient and efficient parking experience.

Al Ghurair Centre offers dedicated parking facilities with convenient access to the mall whether in Parking A (multi-level) or Parking B (Basement Parking) below Al Ghurair Centre extension. Directional signage at the Centre will guide you to the appropriate parking entrances and exits.

Enjoy free parking on Sunday and public holidays for mall customers.

Mall parking fees remain the same despite the upgraded parking experience. Here’s a list of applicable parking fees.

00–03 hours: Free
03–04 hours: AED 20
04–05 hours: AED 40
05–06 hours: AED 60
06–07 hours: AED 100
07 and above: AED 150
24 hours: AED 350
Sunday and public holiday: Free

Overnight parking is prohibited between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM. A fee of AED 200 will be charged per occurrence.

Applicable parking charges are displayed throughout the parking facility.

Yes. Visitors are entitled to 3 hours of complimentary parking, after which the applicable parking tariff will apply. Mall customers can also enjoy free parking on Sundays and public holidays. Free parking does not cover the restricted hours from 2:00 AM – 6:00 AM.

Yes. Al Ghurair Centre operates a ticketless parking system using Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. Your vehicle’s number plate is captured automatically when you enter and exit the parking facility, eliminating the need for a physical parking ticket.

If ANPR is enabled, simply drive into the parking facility as normal. Your vehicle registration number will be automatically recognised upon entry.

Before exiting, please ensure that any applicable parking charges have been paid through one of the available payment methods.

Customers can pay applicable parking charges using the Parkin app, website, SMS or other digital payment options.

Customers do not need to download an app simply to enter the parking facility. Where applicable, the Parkin app may be used as one of the available options for managing and paying for parking.

Customers are given a 5-day grace period to pay their parking fees. If the fees remain unpaid after 5 days, a fine will be applied.

Customers who spend AED 200 or more at any store in the mall are eligible for an additional 2 hours of free parking. Simply present your proof of purchase at the Customer Service Desk to validate your parking.

Cinema customers are eligible for an additional 2 hours of free parking, provided their vehicle is validated at the cinema check-in counters. This benefit cannot be combined with any other free parking privileges redeemed at the Customer Service Desk or at Glitch.

Glitch customers are eligible for an additional 2 hours of free parking, provided their vehicle is validated at the Glitch counters. This benefit cannot be combined with any other free parking privileges redeemed at the Customer Service Desk or at Star Cinemas.

Yes. Dedicated parking spaces are available for People of Determination at Al Ghurair Centre. Customers should ensure that the appropriate valid permit is displayed or registered in accordance with applicable UAE regulations.

Electric vehicle charging points are available at Parking A on the first level and on Basement 1 at Parking B.

Customers are strongly discouraged from leaving their vehicles or using the parking facilities during the restricted hours of 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM. A fee of AED 200 will be charged if a vehicle is detected in the parking facility during this period.

If Al Ghurair Centre operates a fully ticketless ANPR system, there is no physical parking ticket to lose. Your parking session is linked to your vehicle registration number.

By entering the barrierless parking facility operated by Parkin (“Parkin”) at Al Ghurair Centre, you acknowledge and agree to and accept the following Terms & Conditions.

General Parking Terms

Your vehicle plate number serves as your parking ticket.
Use of the parking facility constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
CCTV and ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) systems are operational throughout the parking premises.
Parking charges apply based on the approved tariff and actual parking duration.
Parking fees must be paid before exit or within five (5) days through the Parkin app, website, SMS, or other approved payment channels.
AutoPay services are available for registered Parkin users.
Non-payment or exceeding the permitted payment period may result in fines, including an AED 150 penalty.
Scan the QR code displayed on-site to pay for parking or access the full Terms & Conditions.
Parking validation is available at the Customer Service Desk for customers with purchases of AED 200 or above, for a maximum of 2 hours only, subject to mall policies and validation requirements.
Tariffs will apply when re-entering the parking within 90 minutes.

Barrierless Parking System

This is a barrierless parking system; no physical parking ticket will be issued.
Vehicles are monitored and tracked through ANPR technology using vehicle plate numbers.
Drivers are responsible for ensuring correct vehicle registration and payment completion.

Vehicle & Safety Regulations

Vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk.
Al Ghurair Centre, Parkin, the operator, and property management shall not be liable for any loss, theft, damage, or destruction of vehicles, injury to persons or loss of personal belongings.
Parking in restricted, unauthorised, or non-designated areas is strictly prohibited and may result in towing or penalties.
Overnight parking is strictly prohibited.
Users are prohibited from leaving hazardous materials, flammable substances, or other prohibited items in their vehicles while parked in the Centre.
Private transport buses and unauthorised commercial vehicles are not permitted unless prior approval has been obtained.
All drivers must comply with UAE traffic laws, parking regulations, directional signage, and speed limits within the parking premises.
Any accident, damage, or emergency occurring within the parking area must be immediately reported to Dubai Police and mall security.

Management Rights

Al Ghurair Property Management reserves the right to deny, suspend, or revoke parking access at its sole discretion.
Vehicles violating parking rules, including improper parking or misuse of the facility creating safety concerns, or obstructing operations, may result in a penalty on each incident and may be towed or removed at the owner’s sole risk and cost without prior notice.
