Terms & Conditions apply - 

1. The ‘All I want for Christmas’ social media giveaway is open to residents of the UAE aged 16 or over except employees of Al Ghurair, their families and anyone professionally involved with this promotion. 

2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. 

3. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

4. The giveaway will comprise of five (5) individual giveaways. Entry periods are as follows: 

   • Day 1 Giveaway – 16:00 Sunday 17th December to 08:00 Monday 18th December. 

   • Day 2 Giveaway- 16:00 Monday 18th December to 08:00 Tuesday 19th December 

   • Day 3 Giveaway – 16:00 Tuesday 19th December to 08:00 Wednesday 20th December 

   • Day 4 Giveaway – 16:00 Wednesday 20th December to 08:00 Thursday 21st December 

   • Day 5 Giveaway – 16:00 Thursday 21st December to 08:00 Friday 22nd December. 

5. Entries made outside of the periods listed will not be counted. 

6. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified 

7. To enter the giveaway, you must comment on the daily ‘All I want for Christmas’ posts that will be posted on @alghrurairCentre Facebook and Instagram Channels. You must 

   • Follow the page 

   • Like & share the post 

   • Mention in the comments what you want for Christmas. 

8.  There will be a total of five (5) winners across all five (5) giveaways. Each winner will win their wish. The wish must be: 

   • A physical item that can be sourced and bought from one of the retailers at Al Ghurair Centre. 

   • The item requested must not exceed AED1000.  

   • If a winner is selected and their chosen item is below AED1000 – the difference in value of the item and AED1000 prize value will not be awarded. 

   • Al Ghurair Centre reserves the right to re-draw the winner if the item requested does not meet the requirements as listed within these terms and conditions. 

   • The organizer reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances. 

   • No cash alternatives. 

9. The winner will be selected at random and will be announced at 12:00pm, the following day, post the giveaway. The winner will also be contacted with a reply to their original entry.  

10. The winner of each giveaway will have ten (10) days to contact Al Ghurair to claim their prize. If they fail to do so then the prize will be forfeited. 

11. No prize-draw entries will be carried over from day to day. 

12. The promoter reserves the right to amend the prize-draw dates in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control. 

13. Winners will permit Al Ghurair Centre to use their name, voice and/or likeness without prior notice or compensation, for promotional purposes in connection with the contest in either Social or print forms. 

14. The promoter aims to deliver the prize within 30 days of the closing date of each giveaway. In some circumstances this will not be possible. In this instance the promoter will aim for presents to be delivered within three (3) months of the closing date. The promoter accepts no liability for prizes lost or damaged during delivery. 

15. The organizer does not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, damaged or delayed. For example, as a result of network, system development, computer or telecommunications failures or fault of any kind – including any hardware, programming code, databases or software used in the promotion. 

16. Winners may be required to participate in related publicity without further reward. E.g.: be photographed for website/Facebook/newspaper stories, provide a short statement about their win for up to three months after the competition. 

17. The Organizer reserves the right in its absolute discretion to withdraw or amend without notice this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control or for such other reason as the promoter deems appropriate. 

18. The decisions of the promoter are final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 

19. This promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by UAE law.
